arigoPLEX® Multiplex ELISA kits for SASP research
arigoPLEX® Multiplex ELISA kits for SASP research
Senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) refers to the secretion of inflammatory cytokines, growth factors, and proteases by senescent cells. SASP results in chronic inflammation which drives age-related diseases as well as cancer progression. SASP profile provides insights into the physiological and pathological roles of cellular senescence. However, the composition of the SASP factors varies depending on the cell type. For example, senescent endothelial cells secrete IGFBP-5 and MMP-9, while senescent fibroblasts secrete HGF, TGF-β, and VEGF.
arigo offers multiplex ELISA kits that allow simultaneous quantification of multiple SASP factors, making them an ideal tool for comprehensive studies on SASP.
