The antibody recognizes the His-tag fused to the amino- or carboxy- termini of targeted proteins in transfected or transformed cells. His-tagged protein is also useful for the scientitists for the binding assay and tracing the location of the protein-interested in the cells when the specific antibodies for the protein-of-interest are unavailable. |
